Welcoming Community Dinners

Overview

Hosted by Welcoming Australia, the City of Port Adelaide Enfield and STTARS, Welcoming Community Dinners are an opportunity to gather together to share food, fun and friendship. Bring along a plate of food to share, and enjoy a multicultural dinner with friends, new and old.

2024 Dates

6.30pm on the 2nd Wednesday of the month:

  • 14 February: co-hosted with MACSA, Muslim Australian Connections of South Australia
  • 13 March: hosted in collaboration with Pinnacle College and Ghan United Football Club as a Community Iftar
  • 10 April
  • 8 May: Graduation of the Welcoming Communities Leadership Program
  • 12 June: Refugee Week Community Dinner in partnership with Australian Red Cross, Muslim Women’s Association SA
  • 10 July
  • 14 August – co-hosted by Baba Mazari Foundation
  • 11 September: Welcoming Week Community Dinner – co-hosted by Australia Tamil Arts and Culture Development Centre!
  • 9 October
