Cultural Cook up with Refugees

Cultural Cook Up with Refugees is a series of cooking classes at Great Nature Vegetarian Snacks and Grocery at Christie’s Beach, South Australia.
Come along and see a refugee demonstrate how to make a dish from their own culture and try the dish at the end of the class! Find out more about their life and story and walk a mile in their shoes at the same time.
The event is held from 6.00pm on Sunday 22nd September 2024.
All tickets are free. Limited tickets are available so make sure to book your tickets as soon as possible. There are a limited number of tickets available to order per session per person.
The event is being put on by Circle of Friends Australia Incorporated (Circle 9), a 100% volunteer run refugee support group and supported by the City of Onkaparinga – and this event will also be part of Welcoming Week 2024.
